Dr Jenni Rowlands Bio:

Dr Jenni Rowlands MBBS, MRCS, FRCR, FHEA, PGCert Med Ed is a Consultant Radiologist and Deputy Medical Director who has previous experience as Director of Medical Education. Outside the NHS she also contributes to medical education as a GMC Educational Associate supporting postgraduate curriculum changes. She obtained a Certificate in Medical Education from the University of Warwick and is a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy.

Professor Koottalai Subramanian Srinivasan MD , FRCP Bio:

Is a Consultant Respiratory Physician & Hospital Dean at Shrewsbury & Telford Hospitals NHS Trust and Keele University School of Medicine. Professor Srinivasan qualified from Calcutta Medical College with a Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery Degree (MBBS). Post Graduate qualifications include CCST, MCRP, MD, Diplomate of National Board New Delhi India, Diploma Medical Education, FCCP, European Diplomate in Adult Respiratory Medicine.

Dr Jeffrey Butterworth Bio:

Dr Butterworth is a consultant gastroenterologist at Shrewsbury and Telford Hospitals and was appointed to his current role in 2003. He has an interest in interventional endoscopy and managing patients with inflammatory bowel disease (ulcerative colitis/ Crohn’s disease). He is also involved actively in teaching the medical students from Keele University School of Medicine. He has developed a number of gastroenterology services at the Trust and currently is the chair of the drugs and therapeutics committee. He is also actively involved in research and is widely published. He is married with 3 children and interests include ecology, natural history and walking the Shropshire hills!

Dr Kate Jones Bio:

Dr Jones qualified from Birmingham University in 2002. After completing her initial medical and surgical training, she joined the Shropshire training scheme for general practice. She has worked as a GP in Shropshire for over 15 years Her special interests include education, diabetes, women’s health and contraception. Dr Jones is also a Program Director for GP training in Shropshire, teaching the GPs of tomorrow.

Personal interests

Dr Jones has a young family and enjoys living an active lifestyle and baking.

Richard Jenkins Bio:

Richard is an English literature graduate from Bristol University. After University he worked for Bass, Mattel and Hallmark in sales, marketing and General Management roles. During that time he also gained an MBA from Reading University.

Richard then joined Rentokil-Initial as sales and marketing director before joining the Ecolution Group in Kent as managing director, developing the installation of renewable energy systems in the construction sector. During this time, Richard became a Fellow and Chartered Director of the Institute of Directors (IoD). He was also a Director of the Solar Trade Association for 7 years.

In 2014, Richard and his family moved from Wiltshire up to Shrewsbury to join Rubery Owen as Group CEO. During this time he has also worked as a Governor of Prestfelde school and been involved with the University of Wolverhampton on their IoD Mentoring Programme & Business Advisory Board. He also became a trustee of the ARK Charity in 2023.
